The Gitxaała Virtual Museum is the online home for Gitxaała Nation’s nłudisk (cultural heritage treasures). The site will serve as a collections portal and exhibition platform for the nłudisk around the world that originated in Laxyuubm Gitxaała (Gitxaała territory). The Virtual Museum will track these belongings as they are repatriated to the Nation and contextualize them within Gitxaała history and culture. As the collections portal builds, it will incorporate archival documents and Elder recordings to provide Nation members with a rich experience.

The Gitxaała Virtual Museum was produced with the help of a Museums Assistance Program grant from the Government of Canada.
